Pepperdine University is a medium-sized Christian university, with five schools and a main campus in Malibu, California. It is affiliated with the Churches of Christ, the autonomous congregations of which are not usually considered part of the political Christian Right. The school moved from an undergraduate college to a full university, with graduate and professional schools, in 1970.
